Last week I had the opportunity to shoot with a family in Tacoma. It was a overcast day raining on & off…by far the most difficult shoot I have ever done on my own. I was really wishing my buddy Adam was with me coaching. Luckily I had a really fun group to be with. They were fun to interact with and even more fun to photograph. I’m really glad I had the opportunity to share my gifts with them, and I hope that they will enjoy these photographs.

After an awesomely long week in Mississippi I had some time when I returned to catch up on some editing. Here are some photos from the recent Palmer Scholars Dinner. I hope you all are doing well. Today Adam and I had the opportunity to do a pre-wedding shoot with one of our clients this summer. Kevin and Janet. They’re a great couple and we’re really excited to shoot their wedding in 11 days. Here is just a preview of the couple! These are initial edits, but they’re exciting. Hope you like them. The title says enough. They caught me at the right time at church to get me to snap a few shots for their 90′s themed camp. Influenced by my favorite band the Gin Blossoms I had a little fun editing these photos to have the same sort of tone I found in most of their photos. I hope they enjoy them!
So this week i have the opportunity to play around with a 70-200 f/4.o USM IS lens. It’s half the weight of it’s brother F/1.2, but the pictures are SO SHARP. This is definitely going to be my next lens purchase.
These are some pictures from my full-time job. My staff and some of the students in the program were jumping around outside in the wonderful sunny weather. These pictures speak volumes as to why I love my job. I’m very excited to post these photos.
I realize it’s been a long while since my last post and so I thought i’d post a few shots from today at Grandview. I played some Ultimate with my small group guys down there today….my team lost by 1…oh well. We were also down a guy we did pretty well considering…
